2024 Fall Harvest Celebration - A Farm-to-Table-Fundraiser

We are celebrating our 2nd Annual Harvest Celebration for our holistic farm at Ratna Ling!

Last Spring, our volunteers began a Regenerative Agriculture initiative to provide fresh organic produce to our residents and retreat guests, while consciously caring for the land. This year we continue to practice ancient farming techniques to feed our community. This celebration is a time to share the abundance and give thanks for the fruits of our labor!

To celebrate another bountiful season of growth and community in the Ratna Ling Garden, we are hosting our 2nd Annual Fall Harvest Celebration on October 6th, 2024. As part of our extended family, you are invited to join us at Ratna Ling for an afternoon of music, garden tours and a delicious Ratna Ling vegetarian dinner, made with vegetables from our garden. Come celebrate with us and enjoy a silent auction, plus live musical performances offered by our community!

What is Regenerative Agriculture?
Regenerative Agriculture is any farming approach that aims to produce food while restoring the soil and ecosystem to a natural functioning vibrance. Combatting climate change, protecting water resources, boosting biodiversity, and increasing farm productivity, our practices improve the health of the soil and community rather than just reducing harm.

What are we raising money for?

Most market farmers cannot afford to convert to sustainable methods; by donating to our cause, you give us the flexibility to build organically and allow the ecosystem to naturally adapt to our food production. With your financial support, we can buy organic fertilizer, compost, and more plant starts.

What if you can’t attend our event?

You can still support and donate if you can’t attend our celebration! Simply register here and mention in the Comments that you are unable to attend on October 6th. We would like to send a gift to everyone who donates $200 or more.

1:30 pm – Opening of Music and Silent Auction

Garden Tours offered at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm!

4:30 pm – Dinner at Lodge

5:30 pm – Silent Auction closes

6:00 pm – Close and Announce Silent Auction Winners
